St. Teresa Comprehensive Cancer Center Unites With Toys for Tots to Help Children in Need

November 29, 2016

STOCKTON, Calif. – Nov. 29, 2016 – To kick off the holiday season, St. Teresa Comprehensive Cancer Center is partnering with Toys for Tots for the first time to serve as a drop off location for gifts to benefit less fortunate children.

Starting on November 7 through December 14, the cancer treatment clinic will serve as a drop off location for Toys for Tots. The center is located at 4722 Quail Lakes Drive, Suite B, Stockton (off March Lane and Quail Lakes Drive).

Office hours for donations are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. It is requested that toy donations be unwrapped, new, unisex and for all ages.

Toys for Tots is a program of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. The goal of Toys for Tots is to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joys of the holiday season, and to unite all members of the community in a common cause.

“This is a great opportunity for the community to come together and help those less fortunate this holiday season. Donations do not have to be big. A small toy or book can go a long way to helping a child find hope. We are proud to join together with Toys for Tots to further this cause,” says Dan Vongtama, M.D., Board Certified Radiation Oncologist with St. Teresa Comprehensive Cancer Center.
